Sue was born Jan. 11, 1955 in Paxton, Ill. to Francis and Sally Onorati and moved to Minnesota as a young adult. She married and lived in Robbinsdale and later on settled in rural Princeton and raised a family.
Susan was a passionate woman and invested herself completely in the care of her children, most notably the care and advocacy of her disabled daughter, Lisa. Although Sue was small in stature, she was a dynamo of energy and strength, and competed professionally as a bodybuilder in the late 90’s to early 00’s. She had a very outgoing personality and she earned the admiration of all she met in life.
Susan is survived by her children Eric of Dubuque, Iowa; and Jake, Lisa, and Sara Wondra of Princeton. She is also survived by her sister Jane Onorati of Minneapolis; and both of her parents who reside in suburban Chicago.
The family suggests memorial contributions be sent to Gillette Children’s Hospital, a hospital that specializes in the care of children with disabilities. Sue had worked closely with the doctors and staff at Gillette Children’s Hospital, for the care of her daugthter Lisa.
Online donations can be made in memory of Susan Wondra or in honor of Lisa Wondra at http://www.gillettechildrens.org/default.cfm?PID=1.4.38.
