Boys Basketball: Tigers edge Wolves
Princeton topped Milaca 68-63 in a Granite Ridge Conference boys basketball game Thursday night at Princeton.
The Tigers led 63-60, then made five of six free throws in the final minute to outlast the Wolves.
The scored was tied 29-29 at halftime.
Senior guard Brandon Kiel led Milaca with 38 points.
Senior guard Joss Jondahl paced the Tigers as he sank six three-point shots and finished with 20 points. Sophomore guard Jack Sinkel added 18 points.
Milaca slipped to a 2-11 record, 0-7 in GRC play. The Wolves are at Albany Thursday, Feb. 2.
Princeton, 11-6 overall and 3-3 in conference play, hosts Big Lake Tuesday, Jan. 31.
