Boys Basketball: Big Lake 64, Princeton 57

Princeton's John Jedneak brings down a rebound Tuesday, Jan. 31 against Big Lake at Target Center in Minneapolis.

A Joss Jondahl 3-pointer brought the Tigers within three points of Big Lake with 52 seconds remaining Tuesday, Jan. 31 at Target Center, but couldn’t complete the comeback and lost 64-57 the Hornets.

The Tigers trailed by as many as 13 midway through the second half.

John Jedneak had 19 points and Joss Jondahl 17 points to lead the Tigers. Big Lake’s Michael Doperalski led all scorers with 23 points.

Princeton was down 31-22 at halftime. They were 8-for-25 from 3-point range for a 32 percent average and 7-for-10 from the free-throw line  for 70 percent. The Tigers were 21-of-54 on their field goal attempts, a 39 percent shooting percentage.
