Girls basketball: Princeton 67, Cathedral 54
The Princeton girls basketball team got a big 67-54 win Thursday, Feb. 16 against St. Cloud Cathedral.
Lexi Funaro, Kayleigh Kloncz, Elizabeth Sharber and Haley Sandin all scored in double figures for the Tigers. Funaro had 15 points (3-for-3 on 3-pointers), Kloncz had 14 points, Scharber 11 points and Sandin had 11 points (7-of-10 from the free-throw line).
It was a comeback victory or sorts for the Tigers. Princeton trailed 32-30 at halftime but outscored the Crusaders 37-22 in the second half.
