FRANCES JANE ELVIN, 68, of Princeton, passed away peacefully at Abbot Northwestern Hospital on Thursday, Jan. 26.Frances was born in Minneapolis to the late Theodore and Anne Cheslock. She was a quintessential city girl turned country girl. She loved her vocations: tending the sheep farm, sewing and, especially, caring for her garden and orchard.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Johnny Elvin, and her sister, Elizabeth Meyers. Frances is survived by her sons with James Balluff: Anthony (Claudia), and Randall (Jasmine); sister Judy (Claude) Fienstein; brother James (Harriet) Cheslock; brother Donald (Patti) Cheslock; father-in-law Richard Elvin; and dear friend Melinda Senlycki.
A memorial service for Frances and Johnny is planned for May.
