Letter: Baldwin residents need to participate
It has come to my attention that a rather cozy relationship has developed between the Baldwin Board and the employees of Baldwin. While this is a good thing for incumbents in elections, it leaves the residents of Baldwin with voices unheard and out in the cold with no place at the negotiations table.
The situation flies in the face of democracy and was not the intent of the framers. A homogeneous group, like we currently have, is a dangerous situation. The solution has and always will be for the people to put a stop to it.
Although I’ll admit it is not a pleasant experience, we need more residents involved when Baldwin is at such critical mass.
Please get informed and make your voice heard before it is too late. There is a Baldwin Citizen Group with the goal of getting the information out there that you may want to consider joining.
