Letter: amphitheater can be built by community
The Princeton Area Visionary Committee would like to say thank you for the article that appeared in last week’s Princeton Union-Eagle. We appreciate the fact that ECM is playing a large part in keeping our vision in the community’s eye.
We would like to state that our committee needs many gifts to move forward with a 2012 building schedule.
We need community help in the following various categories: grant writer, fill (dirt), someone to remove trees, lumber, electrical work, and more. Cement, aggregate and asphalt has been donated by Knife River via a grant that was received October 2011.
As the saying goes: “It takes a community to raise a child”; our amphitheater could be built by the concerted efforts and talents of our community.
Two grants have been written for funding, but again that is a waiting game.
We could move forward faster, if we all worked together.
