Police Report: Week of April 19
The following incidents were reported to the Princeton Police Department between April 9-16. The times printed are when a complaint was received, not necessarily when it occurred. The report was compiled by Jeff Hage.
Monday, April 9
5:01 a.m. A woman was placed on a 72-hour hold after taking 21 Tylenol pills and expressing an interest to harm herself.
7:15 a.m. A 23-year-old male was arrested on a Pine County warrant. The suspect had been sleeping at a location in the 200 block of 6th Avenue N.
7:07 p.m. An 18-year-old female was cited for underage consumption. She had a BAC level of .135. Police were called after she was seen vomiting on a driveway in the 1500 block of 16th Street N.
Tuesday, April 10
8:22 a.m. A juvenile male was assaulted by another juvenile male. Charges were pending.
1 p.m. A gas leak was reported in the 900 block of Rum River Drive S. Line was cut while person was chopping roots.
Wednesday, April 11
5:07 a.m. A person was arrested on an active warrant after a traffic stop on 3rd Street North and West Branch Street.
10:37 a.m. Assisted Itasca County Sheriff’s Department with an investigation of a burglary that occurred in that county.
11:45 a.m. Arrested a person in the 200 block of Willow Circle on an outstanding warrant out of Sherburne County.
Thursday, April 12
11:23 a.m. Assisted the St. Cloud Police Department with an investigation of a theft that occurred on April 11.
1:18 p.m. A 20-year-old female was arrested after stealing two bass speakers from a vehicle in the 200 block of 6th Ave. N. Speakers valued at $400.
1:59 p.m. A 23-year-old male was cited for theft after a gas drive-off of $60.25 from the Marathon station.
Friday, April 13
12:56 p.m. Police received a fraud complaint. A person purchased 12 gold coins and found they were not authentic. Victim was out an alleged $16,000.
9:03 p.m. Responded to a vehicle lockout. Two-year-old was in a car seat. Keys fell from a pocket, resulting in driver being locked out.
Saturday, April 14
12:54 a.m. While on duty in Elk River, an officer arrested a 25-year-old female on an outstanding warrant.
