The Princeton Middle School recently participated in several activities to promote Earth Day. Teacher/advisee groups were able to pick and choose the activities they wanted to complete. The activities varied from viewing and discussing the environmental themes in the Dr. Seuss story, The Lorax, to planting grass and wildflower seeds around our building, which were donated by Prairie Restoration. The purpose of the activities was to educate our middle school students about conservation and to encourage them to do their part in conserving our planet’s resources. The photo is of Becky Roby’sTeacher/Advisee class wearing Lorax mustaches after having viewed and discussed the movie.
