Police Report: Week of May 10
Monday, April 30
4:12 a.m. An alarm was reported in the west hall of Princeton High School. Building was secure and no damage was identified.
9:15 a.m. An alarm was reported at Diamondhead Jewelers, 116 Rum River Drive S. It was a false alarm.
11:06 a.m. Sherburne County requested police to check the cemetery for a suicidal female. Woman was located and placed on a 72-hour hold.
12:25 p.m. Isanti County requested assistance in apprehending a man wanted on a warrant. Man was located at place of employment and taken into custody.
1:41 p.m. A man in the 500 block of 11th Street N. reported that someone had opened a DirectTV account in his name and was reporting the incident as a fraud.
7:46 p.m. A bicycle was reported stolen from behind the VFW. It was a 20-inch Mongoose with a red fork.
Wednesday, May 2
1:13 a.m. Michael H. Gage, 44, was arrested in the 300 block of Rum River Dr. N. on suspicion of DWI and booked into the Mille Lacs County Jail. A passenger in the vehicle was also intoxicated.
8:17 p.m. A man who recently purchased a home on Sixth Avenue N. found graffiti on the driveway. It was put there after he made an offer on the house. Some neighboring juveniles admitted to leaving the graffiti. They will attempt to clean off the graffiti.
9:20 p.m. Elk River police sought assistance in checking a Princeton residence for suspects in a theft at Holiday in Elk River. Individuals were home and admitted to being at the store. Info passed on to ERPD.
Thursday, May 3
7:49 p.m. Two people on Meadowview Drive were arguing. One admitted to taking the property of the other but refused to return it. A 51-year-old female was arrested after resisting control and being physically and verbally non compliant.
9:51 p.m. Assisted the Mille Lacs County Sheriff’s Department with an arrest of a person on Ash Drive who violated a domestic abuse no contact order.
11:32 p.m. Responded to an alarm at Peoples Bank. Alarm tripped by the cleaning crew.
Friday, May 4
12:50 a.m. Responded to an alarm at South Elementary School. All was secure.
2:33 a.m. Scott T. Kulberg, age 24, was arrested for suspicion of DWI on Highway 169. Police had received a report of a vehicle being driven southbound in the northbound lane of the highway. Vehicle was still in wrong lane when pulled over by officers.
7:45 a.m. Assisted the State Patrol with an incident involving an erratic driver that nearly struck vehicles on Highway 95. Vehicle located on Highway 169. It struck a mailbox at a high rate of speed and crashed into a ditch just south of the storage units near the North Ambulance garage. Driver was injured and taken to the hospital.
5:54 p.m. A woman fell over a flower planter at a gas station on Rum River Drive S. She hit her head and went to the hospital on her own behalf for treatment.
Saturday, May 5
5:08 a.m. Assisted the Mille Lacs County Sheriff’s Department with a report of an ATV accident.
