Tentative agreement reached on teacher contract
The Princeton School District and the Princeton Education Association have reached a tentative agreement for a contract for the district’s teachers, according to Superintendent Rick Lahn. The two sides have been negotiating with the assistance of a mediator for some months for a two-year contract that includes the school year that is nearly ended. Lahn said on May 8 that the tentative agreement was reached the evening before. He estimated it will take about two weeks for ratification, voting by the teachers, and approval by the school board before details can be made public.
