As part of an ongoing commitment to America’s military, AmericInn Lodge & Suites Princeton participated in a special corporate event where hundreds of gift items were prepared, packaged and donated to military families. The event took place during the 2012 AmericInn Annual Convention in Minneapolis, which took place Sunday, April 22 through Tuesday, April 24.
Over 500 AmericInn hotel owners, franchisees, managers, vendors and corporate staff collaborated on the preparation of the gift items, including stuffing teddy bears, assembling bicycles and packing tote bags with toys, games and activities promoting family time. AmericInn Lodge & Suites Princeton was represented at the event by Nancy Cook.
AmericInn hotels are operating or under development in over 260 locations in 27 states, including the location at 910 South Rum River Drive.
Convention participants were joined in the initiative by military support organizations and officials including Blue Star Mothers, the Beyond The Yellow Ribbon organization and the Minnesota Department of Military Affairs. The gifts will be distributed to families through these military support organizations.
“We are very pleased to represent AmericInn Lodge & Suites Princeton and our surrounding community by participating in this event benefiting military families,” said Cook. “This is the latest demonstration of AmericInn support for the military which has previously included the preparation and shipping of thousands of military care packages to troops stationed overseas.”
