Mille Lacs County deputies and Milaca police officers pursued a man on a dirt bike who had cut across traffic on Highway 169, causing another vehicle to brake heavily Saturday, May 19.
According to the criminal complaint, when the man saw a deputy following him, he accelerated down Main Street in Pease, reaching speeds of 55 mph in a 30 mph zone.
The pursuit continued southbound along Central Avenue when he fled on a trail. Officers caught up with the man, identified as William Anthony Bohn, 26, of Princeton, at a residence south of Pease.
Bohn has been charged with fleeing a peace officer and faces up to three years in jail and/or a $5,000 fine.
