A fugitive wanted out of Dakota County on felony burglary charges was apprehended Wednesday, June 27 in rural Milaca.
Robin Peterson 52, of Milaca was arrested at 18083 U.S. Highway 169 by Mille Lacs County sheriffs deputies, and members of the North Central Drug Task Force who were assisting the U.S. Marshall’s Service.
The U.S. Marshall’s Service in conjunction with the Ramsey County Sheriffs Office was able to track the suspect to 18083 U.S. Highway 169 in Milaca Township, according to Mille Lacs county Sheriff Brent Lindgren. It was there that Peterson was apprehended.
Peterson was wanted by the Dakota County Sheriff’s Department on felony aggravated robbery charges, as well as a second degree controlled substance-sales charge from the St. Paul Police Department, Lindgren said.
Also arrested at the residence was Joshua Werden, 22, of Milaca. Werden was wanted on an outstanding Mille Lacs County warrant for theft and driving after suspension.
Peterson was transported directly to the Ramsey County Jail from the incident scene. Werden was transported and booked into the Mille Lacs County Jail, Lindgren said.
