Police report: July 12

Sunday, July 1

3:09 a.m. Pulled over a vehicle on Highway 95 at 21st Avenue for driving over the fog line. Arrested Brian Weiss, age 23, for suspicion of DWI. He registered a .148 on a preliminary breath test.

7:02 a.m. Investigated a report of juveniles inside the fence at the splash park. Seven juveniles were found inside the park.

12:02 p.m. A gas drive-off in the amount of $30.19 was reported at Little Dukes. Suspect returned and paid.

12:57 p.m. A gas drive-off in the amount of $30.19 was reported at Hofman Oil. Suspect located, returned and paid.

11:09 p.m. Pulled over a vehicle on Highway 169 for driving over the center line. Arrested John Lowe, age 42,  for suspicion of DWI. He registered a .205 on a preliminary breath test.

Monday, July 2

3:49 a.m. Complainant reported that bulbs to a yard light were taken from a residence in the 300 block of Rum River Dr. S.

7:37 a.m. Medical response at Crystal Cabinets. A person at a work station passed out. Person suffered head and neck injuries and transported by ambulance to the hospital.

10:43 a.m. Received a report that a bolt cutter, fire extinguisher and two gas tanks were reported stolen from a truck parked in the 500 block of 10th Avenue S.

11:18 a.m. Received a report that approximately 35 cats were observed at a residence in the 300 block of 3rd Street S. Officer responded and observed 10 cats in the yard. Homeowner said there were six cats in the house. Subject was counseled on city laws pertaining to cats.

11:50 p.m. Investigated a report of a break-in in progress in the 600 block of 3rd Street N. Entrance was attempted from a basement window. Officer located part of a window taken off. Mille Lacs County canine unit was called in. No suspect was located.

Tuesday, July 3

1:21 p.m. A theft complaint was investigated at ShopKo.

2:46 p.m. Assisted the Minnesota Animal Humane Society with a report of a large number of cats living at a residence on Old County Road 18.

6:18 p.m. Investigated a report of a fight between two males in the 1900 block of 5th Street N.

Wednesday, July 4

1:17 a.m. A vehicle was reported stolen from a garage in the 1100 block of 1st Street.

Friday, July 6

7:11 p.m. A shoplifting complaint was reported at Family Dollar. A 34-year-old female was arrested for taking items valued at $42.90.

10:16 p.m. Investigated an assault report. A female was a passenger in a car when suspect opened the car door and assaulted her. Victim was taken to the emergency room for treatment. Suspect was not located.

Sunday, July 8

3:33 a.m. Complainant reported an intoxicated female came to her house. Suspect said she had just moved to Princeton and couldn’t find her residence. Officer assisted in helping suspect find her way home.

5:05 p.m. Investigated a report of a tire being cut in the 200 block of 7th Ave. N.
