Jerry Bergeron

Jerry Leonard Bergeron, age 60, died Monday, August 27, 2012 at Grace Pointe Crossing Gables West in Cambridge.

Jerry was born on July 14, 1952 in Princeton, the son of Leonard and Juelet (Oslin) Bergeron. He grew up and attended the Princeton community schools,

graduating from Princeton High School in 1970.

Jerry was a three-sport athlete participating in football, baseball and basketball. However, baseball was his passion.  He played shortstop and second base for Princeton High School, the Princeton Legion and the Princeton town team. He was also an avid Twins fan.

Jerry worked for the city of Princeton following high school until 1974.  He then moved to the Twin Cities to start his career in the transportation industry in which he worked throughout his life.  He loved outdoor activities including boating, fishing, swimming and golf.

Jerry is survived by his son Jared and daughter Kelsey both of St. Louis Park; sisters Connie Krystofiak of Hopkins, Lynette (Steve) Ragsdale of

Branson, Mo.; loving partner Jackie Olson of Cambridge; nephews Mark, Brad, and Rick; nieces Molly, Jennifer,and Angie and 10 great nieces and

nephews.

Jerry was preceded in death by his parents Leonard and Juelet Bergeron; brothers Rick Bergeron and Fred Miller; sister Delight Struck; niece Michelle McGuire and nephew Eric Ragsdale.

A service was held on Saturday, September 1, 2012 at the Freshwaters United Methodist Community-River Campus, Princeton. Burial was at Oak Knoll Cemetery, Princeton.
