Police Report: Aug. 30
The following incidents were reported to the Princeton Police Department between Aug. 20-27. The times printed are when a complaint was received, not necessarily when it occurred. The report was compiled by Jeff Hage.
Monday, Aug. 20
1:32 a.m. A 25-year-old male was arrested for giving an officer a false name and date of birth after being pulled over for a lane violation on Highway 95. The suspect was also wanted on a Benton County warrant.
9:19 a.m. Garbage was found to be dumped in a ditch on 17th Street. Nothing in the garbage indicated who dumped it.
3:59 p.m. A crash with minor damage was reported at Highway 95 at Rum River Dr.
7:15 p.m. A gas drive-off in the amount of $54.01 was reported at Casey’s South.
Tuesday, Aug. 21
11:16 a.m. A vehicle accident was reported on Northland Drive.
5:22 p.m. A driver was given a verbal warning for throwing a cigarette butt out a window.
Wednesday, Aug. 22
7:27 a.m. Graffiti was written in black marker all over the men’s rest room in Riverside Park.
7:28 a.m. Graffiti was written in black marker on an electrical box at 1st Street and 12th Avenue.
10:13 a.m. Graffiti was written in black marker on a building at 208 N. Rum River Dr.
2:31 p.m. Graffiti was written in black marker on a dumpster and other metal objects at 401 1st Street.
6:19 p.m. Graffiti was written in black marker on an outside cooler at 308 Rum River Dr. S.
Thursday, Aug. 23
12:35 a.m. A male reportedly urinated on a mailbox on Old Highway 18.
1:34 p.m. A house fire was reported at 505 3rd Street S. Fire was located in an outdoor smoker.
5:19 p.m. A 24-year-old female was arrested on a felony warrant in the 500 block of 3rd Street S.
7:03 p.m. A 25-year-old male was arrested in the 800 block of 7th Avenue N. after failing to leave a residence.
9:23 p.m. A fire alarm was activated at 801 3rd Street N. Fire was unfounded.
Friday, Aug. 24
9:15 a.m. A 62-year-old male died during dialysis at 124 Rum River Dr.
11:07 a.m. Graffiti was painted on a pump house box at 1st Street and 14th Avenue.
Sunday, Aug. 26
12:09 a.m. Arrested Ryan Bachman, 41, for suspicion of DWI at 10th Street and 136th Street.
1:47 a.m. A 46-year-old male was arrested for fleeing an officer and driving after cancelation. He was also wanted on a Mille Lacs County warrant.
11:35 a.m. A five-gallon gas can, half filled with gasoline, was reported stolen from a residence in the 300 block of 8th Ave. S.
8:48 p.m. A gas drive-off of $20.47 was reported at Casey’s North.
