Flyers rally to beat Tiger boys soccer

THURSDAY SPORTS: Ryan Smith and Korben Weidenborner combined on a nice scoring play early in the Sept. 20 home match against Little Falls, giving the Princeton boys soccer team a 1-0 lead.  That advantage stood for a long portion of the first half as the Tiger defense scrambled well and keeper Reid Eggen made several outstanding saves, including tipping away a 1-on-0 breakaway.

But the Flyers added two late goals to lead 2-1 at the half then scored four second-half goals to win the Granite Ridge matchup 6-1.

Tiger Girls Soccer 5-0 in GRC

Also on Sept. 20, the Princeton girls soccer team beat host Little Falls 6-0, improving to a conference-leading 5-0-1. On Sept. 18, the Tigers shut out Zimmerman 5-0.

Tiger Tennis blanks Flyers

Princeton girls tennis won a 7-0 match at home against Little Falls Sept. 20. The Tigers are tied at the top of the Granite Ridge with Foley heading into the big Sept. 25 home match with the Falcons.
