Tiger tennis splits matches with C-I, Cathedral

Princeton girls tennis split its two matches late last week which left them at 3-4 overall on the season. The Tigers kick into the Granite Ridge schedule with matches against Mora and Pine City over the coming week.

On Aug. 28, Princeton defeated host St. Cloud Cathedral 5-2 in a nonconference match added late to the fall schedule.

On Aug. 30, the Tigers were clipped 5-2 by host Cambridge-Isanti in another nonconference match. MaryClaire Mayerchak did not give up a game at first singles with her solid baseline prowess and strong serving. Bri Dorr added a convincing victory at No. 3 singles with aggressive play all around the court.
