This letter is in regards to the front, half page ad by the “ABC Committee” that appears in this week’s Town & Country, promoting certain school board candidates.
n I find it disturbing that the ABC Committee is an exclusive,” by invitation only,” good old boys club with a secret agenda.
n I find it disturbing that a sitting board member/candidate has involved himself on this committee.
n I find it in poor taste that two of the candidates are brothers-in-law and will most likely serve on the board together due to lack of candidates to fill all the vacated positions.
n I find it disturbing that the ABC Committee does not identify their membership.
n I find it disturbing that the ABC Committee is promoting a “write-in” candidate when there is a legitimate candidate running.
n I find it disturbing that the ABC Committee is trying to “fix” the election by filling all five seats with themselves so they can execute their collective agenda.
n I find it disturbing that the ABC Committee didn’t hold a legitimate candidate forum so voters could ask their own questions and independently choose who they feel will best represent them.
I will not be voting for any of the five ABC Committee candidates promoted in their ad. I will be voting for the one, truly independent candidate, Chuck Nagle, who does not have a secret agenda and who promotes school district/school board transparency of information for the public.
The ad does the voters no good as it tells us nothing of the views of the five promoted candidates and how they will represent us.
