Football: Tigers lose by a point

Princeton held a 12-7 led going into the fourth quarter but gave up a 60-yard touchdown pass from Foley quarterback Sam Udermann to Tyler Beehler to fall by a point 13-12 to the Falcons Wednesday night at Foley.

Princeton went up 6-0 in the second quarter on a one yard run into the end zone by Quarterback Zack Ludwig. The Tigers missed the extra point.

Foley took a 7-6 lead in the third quarter on a 23-yard run by Logan Novak. Princeton answered and took a 12-7 lead on Cole Warren’s one-yard run. Once again, the kick failed. Warren had 106 yards rushing on the night.

The Tigers finish their second Granite Ridge Conference season with a 4-4 record.
