Letter: It’s not time yet to throw in the towel

About two years ago the American population began to stir as if waking up from a bad dream.

Sadly, it didn’t last too long.

Soon the Congress and officials in Washington were back to the same senseless policies and strategies as before.

Now we have another chance to go back to being the U.S.A of old instead of some pseudo-European country invented by certain politicians.

If we don’t right our ship of state and stick with it we might just as well line up with Greece and Spain on the precipice and all jump together.

Not a very plesant thought.

However, it isn’t time to throw in the towel just yet.

If we get our house in order we can chip away at the onerous debt and not leave our children and grand-children holding the bag.
