Patrick Dion Hennessy, aged 51, died September 6, 2012 at the University of Nebraska Medical Center.
Patrick was born December 4, 1961 in Princeton to David and Kathryn Hennessy. He was the fifth son of six brothers. Patrick lived in Princeton until he graduated from high school. Patrick worked and lived in Minneapolis until he moved to Omaha, Neb. in 1985.
Patrick worked for Bergan Mercy Alegent Hospital for over 10 years and The Nebraska Medical Center for 15 years.
Patrick was preceded in death by his brother, Daniel who died in infancy; father, David in 1993; mother, Kathryn in 1994; and brother, Ronald in 2005. He is survived by his brothers, Jim, Princeton, Jerry, Browns Valley, and Bill, Black Hawk, S.D.; special friends, Bonnie and Mike Riss, Omaha, Neb., Ulla Holmberg, Omaha, Neb. and Karen Wolford and Kelly Nesmith, Council Bluffs, Iowa; many relatives; cousins; and friends throughout Minnesota and Nebraska.
A memorial service will be held in remembrance of Patrick Dion Hennessy at 11 a.m. on Saturday, October 27 at the the Freshwaters Methodist Church – River Campus, Princeton. Burial will be in Oak Knoll Cemetery, Princeton. Visitation will be one hour before the service.
Patrick was a cheerful soul, quick with a smile and he had a witty sense of humor. He cared deeply for all his friends and the pets he had during his life. He will truly be missed by all his friends and family.
