Police Report: Week of Nov. 1
The following incidents were reported to the Princeton Police Department between October 22-29. The times printed are when a complaint was received, not necessarily when it ocurred. The report was compiled by Jeff Hage.
Monday, October 22
3:10 a.m. Assisted the Mille Lacs County Sheriff’s Department by pulling over a vehicle on Highway 169 and 105th Street suspected to be involved in an incident in Milaca. Driver was cited for driving with no drivers license.
8:01 a.m. A juvenile was cited for shoplifting at SuperAmerica, 925 S. Rum River Dr.
10:02 a.m. A juvenile female reorted being assaulted on a school transfer bus. Incident is under investigation.
6:25 p.m. Investigated a driving complaint involving a vehicle and a truck driving side-by-side at 50 mph on Rum River Drive with kids hanging out of them. Vehicles were reported to be blocking traffic flow.
7:32 p.m. Assisted the Mille Lacs County Sheriff’s Department with a disturbance in the 4500 block of Baxter Road in rural Princeton. Bounty hunters were looking for an individual wanted on an active warrant. Bounty hunters searched a residence in the area and took an individual into custody.
7:56 p.m. Assisted the Mille Lacs County Sheriff’s Department in the 2300 block of Ash Street by arresting a male on an active warrant from Stearns County.
Tuesday, Oct. 23
12:12 a.m. A juvenile was observed in Mark Park hiding from approaching squad car. Juvenile was taken home, released to parent, and warned about curfew violations.
3:22 p.m. An 18-year-old female and a 22-year-old-female, both sisters, were arrested following a domestic dispute.
5:23 p.m. A chainsaw was reported stolen in the 1100 block of 1st Street.
6:20 p.m. A driver was arrested on 9th Avenue on an active warrant from Hennepin County.
Wednesday, Oct. 24
12:40 a.m. Assisted the Mille Lacs County Sheriff’s Department with a report of a residential burglary alarm on a pole shed in the 3400 block of 75th Avenue.
1:32 a.m. Assisted Milaca Police with apprehending suspects for making terrorist threats at an address in the 12000 block of 300th Ave. NW Princeton officer transported a male juvenile to jail.
8:24 a.m. Received a report of a suspicious male walking on Woodland Drive and appearing to be showing children a picture on a cellular telephone. Man located. He was searching for a lost cat and showing people pictures of the animal with hope of locating it.
11:10 a.m. A juvenile male at the middle school was cited for possession of marijuana, drug paraphernalia and tobacco.
11:32 a.m. A citation was issued to a student at the high school after twice striking a juvenile male in the face.
5:01 p.m. A skid loader attachment was located in the road at 19th Avenue and Second Street. It belonged to a landscape crew working at Walmart and was removed.
Thursday, Oct. 25
11:05 a.m. Tools valued at approximately $800 were reported stolen from a storage unit on 10th Street.
7:42 p.m. A car hit a deer in the 700 block of south Rum River Drive.
9:05 p.m. A suspicious vehicle was reported driving past houses on 14th Ave. S. Officer located. Driver said she was a pizza deliver driver searching for an address.
Friday, Oct. 26
9:18 a.m. 100 feet of cable was reported stolen from the ground in the 100 block of 18th Ave. N. Cable valued at $160.
Saturday, Oct. 27
12:02 a.m. A female suffered a head injury at a party on 50th Street. Victim was airlifted from the scene.
1:38 a.m. A fight was reported in the 600 block of 4th Avenue S. Officers unable to locate incident.
Sunday, Oct. 28
11:02 a.m. A shoplifter was reported at Thrifty White Pharmacy, 115 N. Rum River Dr.
6:06 p.m. Smoke and the odor of burned rubber was reported at 101 6th Avenue S. Building was evacuated. Fire Department responded to clear building.
