Union activity at intersection

Laborers International of North America Local 563 union members Hank Foster, Dan Olson and Dennis Moos hold up a sign at the corner of Rum River Drive and Northland Drive in Princeton Monday morning critical of Thompson Construction of Princeton, Inc. Union spokesperson Mike Connelly said the issue is mostly about the amount of benefits that Thompson Construction gives to its workers at Twin Cities metro job sites, more so than the wages the company pays. Connelly noted that he had just installed a rat-shaped inflatable not far from the Thompson Construction office north of the city of Princeton that morning as part of the union’s protest.
