Joyce A. Bost
Joyce A. Bost (nee Ott), age 74 of Zimmerman, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Nov 27, 2012.
Joyce was a long-time and devoted volunteer and recently inducted into the Three Rivers Community Foundation Hall of Fame. She served as a board member with CAER. She also made hundreds of shoeboxes for Operation Christmas Child.
She is survived by her loving husband of 54 years, Henry; children Timothy, Nancy (Kevin) Hiller, Garry (Susan), Christine (Robert) Sandberg, Matthew (fiancé Jennifer Hauser), Mark (Jessica), Angel (Joseph) Rosa, Kathleen (Thomas) Budish and Peter; 11 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; sisters Arlene Horvath and Doris Goldner.
She was preceded in death by her son Randy, parents August and Stella Ott; step-brother LaVernal Ott, step-sister Bernita Horvath; brothers Orven, Ronald, Alvin and Eldon Ott and sister Jeanne Rosen.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Dec. 3 at St John Lutheran Church 13045 Fremont Ave. Zimmerman. Visitation will be from 2-6 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 2 at Dare’s Funeral Home, 805 Main St. NW, Elk River and 1 hour prior to service at the church.
Interment will be in Bellwood Cemetery, Zimmerman.
Memorials preferred to CAER of Elk River in lieu of flowers.
