Minnie Brady, age 80, of Princeton passed away peacefully on November 9, 2012. Minnie was born on May 6, 1932 to Francis and Bessie Wille in Harvard, IL.
She graduated from Harvard High School in 1950. She married William John Brady and their marriage was blessed with four children. Bill and Minnie moved to Elk River in 1963 and then on to Princeton in 1995. Minnie was a Girl Scout leader, Cub Scout leader, 4-H leader, and an Elk River election judge. She was a member of Sherburne County Homemakers and Christian Mothers.
Minnie was a realtor in Elk River from 1977 until her retirement in 1993. She loved travelling to Florida, going on cruises, making jewelry and was know to be a rock hound.
Minnie is survived by her loving husband of 55 years, William; children, MaryAnn (Sean) Brierley, William Donald (Lisa Jo), Martin (Theresa), Margie (Jeff) McCormick; 11 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. Also survived by her twin sister, Mary Lou Church; sisters, Ramona (Harry) Bauman, Jeannie McQueen and Bonnie (Tom) Miner, brother, Raymond (May) Wille and many nieces and nephews.
Minnie is preceded in death by her parents; brothers-in-law, Leonard Church and Mel McQueen; nephew, Dwight Bauman and niece, Rita McQueen.
A visitation with prayers was November 13, 2012 at Dare’s Funeral Home. Minnie was brought home to Illinois and buried at Mt. Auburn Cemetery in Harvard, Illinois.
