Princeton man shoots self in hand
A Princeton Township man was among two people involved in gunshot incidents last weekend in Mille Lacs County.
Shawn Rosky, 35, 5455 60th Street, Princeton Township, was injured at about 6:30 p.m. Sunday, according to Mille Lacs County Sheriff Brent Lindgren. Rosky was going to clean his Springfield Armory 1911 .45 caliber handgun. While removing the magazine, he accidentally shot himself through his left palm.
On Saturday afternoon a 12-year-old St. Michael boy lost a finger in the area of 3999 Hwy. 18 in East Side Township. The boy was in a tree stand with a shotgun when the gun fired, subsequently taking off a finger the boy had over the barrel.
