Sharon Ruffolo, age 69, of Princeton, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, November 19, 2012, after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Sharon was surrounded by her loving family.
She grew up in Wichita, Kan. where she attended South High and graduated in 1961. After moving to Minnesota in 1977, Sharon worked as a Hennepin County financial worker for 16 years and later became a bus driver for the Princeton School District.
She enjoyed singing, playing the piano, gardening and scrapbooking.
Sharon is survived by husband Arthur M. Ruffolo; mother, Thelma Thole; children Randy Hyde, Cayleen (Eric) Haarala, Cayla (John) Ericksen, Rick Hyde, and Cynthia Ferguson; brothers, Terry (Karen) Thole, Steve Thole, Rodney (Nancy) Thole, Paul (Nancy) Thole; 15 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
Sharon is preceded in death by father, Timothy Frank Thole; brother, Timothy Mark Thole; and sister-in-law, Debbie Thole.
A celebration of Sharon’s life will be held at 1 p.m, Wednesday, Nov. 28 with visitation one hour prior at Emmanuel Christian Center, 7777 University Ave. NE, Spring Lake Park, MN.
Interment will take place at 1 p.m. Friday, Nov. 30 at White Chapel Cemetery, 1824 North Oliver Ave., Wichita, Kan.
