Tiger Girls drop hoops opener at Cambridge

Princeton girls basketball ran into a strong team defense sprung by host Cambridge-Isanti when the 2013 season opened Nov. 27. The Bluejackets built a 37-19 halftime lead and held for a 58-42 win over the Tigers.

Sophomore center Jenna Doyle led Princeton with 13 points, and senior Kayleigh Kloncz added 10 points for the Tigers. The Bluejackets were paced by attacking guard Brynn Liljander who scored 33.

The Tigers travel to Sauk Rapids for game two of the season on Friday, Nov. 30 (7:30 p.m. start).
