Evelyn (Eve) Clark, beloved wife of Henry Clark, beloved mother of Linda Johnson, Becky Johnson, and Kay Johnson, beloved step-mother of Bridget Boettcher and Brenda Reddick, passed away December 22, 2012 after a valiant battle with cancer, congestive heart failure, and ataxia. Proceeded in death by her father Iver Forland, her mother Ethel Rogne Forland, and siblings Lowell, Adolph, Iver, Ramona, and Gina. Survived by siblings Elroy, Victor, Phyllis, Susie, and Steve, and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She received a B. S. degree in Resource Economics and an M. S. degree in Applied Economics, both from the University of Minnesota, Minneapolis. She utilized her education in working for the State of Minnesota for several years as a Utility Rates Analyst.
She loved: spending time with her blended, extended family, her service dog Gander, gardening, quilting, reading a vast variety of books, exercising to be as physically fit as possible, spending our summers in Grand Marais, MN, collecting dolls, playing scrabble, classical music, genealogy, and traveling.
She had a beautiful smile and a special way of connecting with people and she will be sorely missed.
A memorial service will be held at 2 pm, Friday, Jan. 4, 2013 at Lakewood Cemetery, 600 Hennepin Ave. S. Minneapolis, MN.
