Police Report: Week ending Dec. 3, 2012

The following incidents were reported to the Princeton Police Department between November 26 to December 3. The times printed are when a complaint was received, not necessarily when it ocurred. The report was compiled by Jeff Hage.

 

Monday, Nov. 26

1:40 p.m. A student at the middle school threatened an adult with physical violence. A report will be sent to the county attorney for consideration of charges.

Tuesday, Nov. 27

8:21 a.m. Someone spray-painted “Grove Stree” on a small building near the splash park in Mark Park. There are no suspects.

1:15 p.m. A juvenile male assaulted another juvenile male at the middle school. A report will be sent to the county attorney for consideration of charges.

3:31 p.m. A counterfeit $5 bill was passed at Casey’s North.

3:51 p.m. A female reported losing her drivers license and social security card.

7:08 p.m. A person was arrested at 126 Woodland Court on an active warrant out of Stearns County.

11:18 p.m. A vehicle was pulled over at Rum River Drive and Second Street N. for having a license plate out. Female driver had a revoke license. Driver was cited for driving after revocation and driving without insurance. Vehicle was towed.

Wednesday, Nov. 28

4:51 p.m. Complaintant reported receiving a cell phone call in which the caller threatened he was getting paid to kill the complainant. On call back, number was unreachable. Neighboring agencies had no record of phone number in their records.

4:53 p.m. A 15-speed bike was found to be abandoned behind the shopko building.

Thursday, Nov. 29

10:37 a.m. A vehicle stolen out of Princeton was recovered in Annandale. A 31-year-old male was arrested.

11:46 a.m. A 15-year-old male  was arrested for disorderly conduct and criminal damage to property. He was booked into Lino Lakes.

5:48 p.m. A lock on a storage unit was found to be cut off a a door left half opened. Renter to be notified.

8:55 p.m. A male was arrested at 1510 12th St. N. on a felony warrant for terroristic threats out of Mille Lacs County.

10:39 p.m. A hit and run accident was reported at the ice arena.

Friday, Nov. 30

12:27 a.m. A vehicle was pulled over on Rum River Dr and Second Street S. for a loud muffler and a cracked windshield. Located in the vehicle was 25 grams of marijuana. Two men were arrested.

9:18 a.m. Christmas light wires were reported to be cut at a residence in the 1200 block of Pine Lane.

12:25 p.m. A large portion of a tree was reported to be cut at Shady Lane and 4th Avenue N. Damage estimated at $200.

10:26 p.m. A vehicle was stopped on Rum River Drive and 5th Avenue N. for having a headlight out. Driver was revoked and had no insurance. A meth pipe was located in the vehicle. Vehicle was towed.

Saturday, Dec. 1

5:33 a.m. A blue Dodge van was reported stolen from a residence on 1oth Avenue N. Vehicle located at 2:55 p.m.

2:13 p.m. A gas drive-off in the amount of $35 was reported at Holiday.

7:08 p.m. A two-vehicle crash was reported Rum River Drive S. and Highway 169. A driver was cited for failing to yield the right of way. Fire department responded for traffic control.

Sunday, Dec. 2

12:03 a.m. A vehicle was pulled over coming off the Highway 169 exit ramp at Highway 95 because of driving behvior. Driver failed field sobriety tests. Ryan D. Hansen, 22, was arrested for DWI. Vehicle was towed from the scene.

8:18 a.m. A burglary was reported at the Moose Lodge.
