Carol A. (Boehm) Boe, 64, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on January 5, 2013 at her home in Minnetonka after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. Carol was born January 3, 1949 in Princeton to Carl and Della Boehm.
Carol graduated from Princeton High School in 1967 and went on to college in Bemidji. Carol was founder of Health Care Insurance Service in 1981. She operated HCIS for 20-years, selling it in 2001 and retiring. After retirement, Carol enjoyed her part-time job at Bachmann’s where she pursued her lifelong interest in flowers and gardening.
She is survived by son Darin Boe of Minneapolis, parents Carl and Della Boehm of Princeton, sister Connie (Tim) Enger, niece Melissa (Jesse) McAlpine, nephew Michael Enger, great nieces and nephews Ashley, Allyson and Tyler McAlpine and Lucas Enger, all of Princeton.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents Alfred and Freda Boehm and James and Lavina Huntley and step-grandmother Loretta Huntley.
A private family service was held to celebrate Carol’s life.
