Ranked Crusaders beat Tiger boys hoops

St. Cloud Cathedral, ranked 4th in Class AA boys basketball, overcame a strong first half by host Princeton to win 77-59 Jan. 24. The Tigers were within 35-32 at the end of the first 18:00, but the Crusaders sprinted on a 13-0 run in the second half to pull away. The Tigers were led by 24 points from Jack Sinkel in the Granite Ridge matchup.

On Jan. 22, Monticello clipped the Tigers 61-53 in non-conference action.

TIGER BOYS HOCKEY 3, LITTLE FALLS 0

Princeton swept the season series by blanking the host Flyers Jan. 24. The victory improved the Tigers Granite Ridge mark to 3-0.
