Susan Victoria Iler, 49, passed away December 28, 2012 after a year-long battle with breast cancer.
Sue was born on November 17, 1963 in Willmar to Dean and Shirley Miller. She graduated from Willmar High School in 1982 and from Willmar Technical College in the human resources program the following year.
She worked various jobs in Princeton, including jobs at Plastic Products, Crystal Cabinets, Westling Manufacturing, and Distinctive Door Design. She also worked at Hardees in Milaca.
On July 7, 1990 Sue married Leonard Iler. The couple resided in the Princeton area since. On September 20, 2001 they were blessed with son Colton Roth Iler.
Sue loved to work with her hands. One of her passions was to recycle jeans and use the material to make quilts, curtains, and furniture covers. She also worked with wood and made cutting boards, shelves and boxes. She always had a very positive outlook on life and never complained.
Sue is survived by husband Leonard and son Colton of Princeton, parents Dean and shirley Miller of Willmar, sister Anne (Brent) Surerus of Raymond, grandmother Gladys Splittstoesser of Fergus Falls, uncle Thomas Toner of Zimmerman, aunt Arlene Janckila of Coon Rapids, and many nieces and nephews. She is also survived by special friends Mike and Tammi, Jason and Leanne, and Mark and Jamie.
Susan was preceded in death by her grandparents Roy and Agnes Miller, grandfather Leo Fasbender, uncles James Fasbender, Dale Miller and Donald Janckila.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 12 at Princeton Community Church. 909 N. 2nd Street, Princeton.
