Tartan’s power play downs Tiger boys

The speed of Tartan leading-scorer Jake Johnson (1 G/2 A) was a constant thorn in Princeton’s side Jan. 10 at the Tartan Arena. Here, Jordan Forschen and Dan Voce try to slow the Titan down on a second-period rush. Photo by Greg Hunt
Princeton’s Chase Lindenfelser scored 15 seconds into the Jan. 10 game at Tartan, but the Titans answered with three power play goals in a row, going on to a 5-3 non-conference victory.
Tartan eventually opened a 4-1 lead early into the third period. Dan Muench and A.J. Wesloh found the net to cut it to 4-3 with eight minutes to play.
The Tigers host a Saturday matinee Jan. 12, taking on Luverne at 3 p.m. at the Princeton Arena.
