The Baldwin Township board met with Livonia township officials at the Livonia town hall on Monday, February 25 to open bids for the 112th street road repair project.
Of the six bids received, Knife River Construction, from Sauk Rapids was the low bidder. The total amount of the bid was $560,385.83 and was awarded contingent on the township engineer, Jon Bogart, validating the amounts and details of the bid.
Baldwin Township’s share of the project is estimated to be about $260,000. Construction will begin around the time the kids are out of school and should be completed by early August.
The project should take about 60 days to complete.
