Frances Lucille Mesko, 81, of Zimmerman, died in her sleep at the Milaca Nursing Home on February 9, 2013.
She was born August 9, 1931, in Princeton, to Jack and Irene Fischer, and graduated from Princeton High School in 1949. She was married to Leroy Mesko on January 16, 1954, at St. Edward’s Catholic Church in Princeton. Creative and talented, she learned to enjoy many hobbies, including guitar, craft making, antiques, grapevine wreath making and golf over the years.
She is survived by her husband Leroy of Zimmerman; children Tony of Springfield, Mo., Marsha (Al) Lunt of Fayetteville, N.C., Mitch (Stephanie) of St. Cloud, John (Lisa) of Princeton; grandchildren Jessica (John) Sanders of Charlotte, N.C., Gabrielle and Sarah Mesko of Princeton; sister Katheryn Jean Grow of Anoka; brother Allan (Pat)Fischer of Elk River. She was preceded in death by her brother Russell Fischer.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 13, 2013, at the Williams Dingmann Family Funeral Home in Princeton. Friends and relatives may gather one hour prior to services on Wednesday.
