Harriet Marie Deglman, age 87, of Princeton, passed away Sunday, February 10, 2013, at Fairview Southdale Hospital in Edina.
Harriet was born December 22, 1925, in Chicago, Ill., to Henry and Minnie (Minks) Arnhold.
Harriet married Clifford Foote in 1943, the couple later divorced. She married Alfred Deglman in June 1982. Harriet worked at Smith Systems, OJ Odegard, Twin Cities Arsenal and as a waitress for area restaurants. She was a member of Christ Our Light Catholic Church in Princeton and a life member of the Princeton American Legion Auxiliary. She enjoyed doing needlepoint, spending time in her garden, baking and cooking, doing jigsaw puzzles and watching birds from her back yard. She especially liked seeing cardinals. She also enjoyed spending time with the children with the foster grandparent program at the school.
Survivors include her children Carolyn Mae Linder of Braham, Clifford (Shirley) Foote Jr. of Ramsey, Virginia (Allen) Hugget of Princeton; sisters Patricia Ann (Clarence) Reiman of Princeton, Jane Karas of North Branch; eight grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; 10 great-great-grandchildren; as well as many nieces, nephews and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husbands, Alfred in 1986, and Clifford in 1988.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 a.m. on Friday, February 15, 2013, at Christ Our Light Catholic Church in Princeton. Rev. Kevin Anderson will officiate. Burial will be in the spring at the church cemetery in Princeton. Friends may call one hour prior to services at the church in Princeton.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Williams Dingmann Family Funeral Home in Princeton.
