Leroy S. Toth, age 87, of Elk River, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family on Feb. 5, 2013, after a 16-year battle with cancer.
Leroy was a longtime auctioneer and lifelong Elk River area citizen who cared deeply about his neighbors, city and the land.
He was preceded in death by his parents Steve and Ada; brothers Lawrence and Laverne; sisters Sylvia, Adeline, Doris, Leona and Joyce.
Leroy is survived by his children Leroy Jr. “Spike” (Lyn), Bonnie (Dan) Jones, Rose Perry and Lori (Joel) Godin; 11 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
He is also survived by his brother Larry (Joyce) Toth, devoted niece Patty Gressman and many other relatives and friends.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 12:30 p.m. Monday, Feb. 11 at the Church of St. Andrew, 566 4th St. NW, Elk River.
Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 10 at Dare’s Funeral Home, 805 Main St. NW, 763-441-1212 and two hours prior to mass at church on Monday.
Interment will be in St. Andrew’s Parish cemetery.
