Police report: Week of Feb. 14

The following incidents were reported to the Princeton Police Department between Feb. 4-10. The times printed are when a complaint was received, not necessarily when it occurred. The report was compiled by Jeff Hage.

 

Monday, Feb. 4

7:59 a.m. Responded to an accident on Rum River Drive at 4th Street S. A car and bus collided. No injuries reported.

1:29 p.m. A theft was reported at Walmart. Someone cut security cords and stole two laptop computers. Computers valued at $1,376.

3:21 p.m. Responded to a crash on Rum River Drive at 5th Street S. Over $1,000 in damage reported. No injuries.

4:54 p.m. Responded to 501 1st St. where someone dumped a used tire rim in the landing of the building.

6:28 p.m. A person reported a missing wallet.

8:03 p.m. Responded to 1012 9th Ave N. where two brothers were involved in a disturbance. One left the residence for the night. Officers were called to the same address 50 minutes later where family members were reportedly arguing about the earlier altercation. Another person left the residence for the night.

Tuesday, Feb. 5

8:59 a.m. Items were reported to be taken from a business at 516 1st St. Under investigation.

10:29 a.m. Responded to a two-vehicle crash in the 800 block of 8th Avenue S.

Wednesday, Feb. 6

1:22 p.m. Responded to an accident on Highway 95 at Rum River Drive.

1:48 p.m. A 41-year-old female was arrested for shoplifting at Family Pathways.

2:41 p.m. Located a female juvenile runaway from Mille Lacs County. Turned over to a county deputy.

3:17 p.m. Issued a citation to a female juvenile for possession of drug paraphernalia.

4:20 p.m. Responded to an accident in the 900 block of 7th Avenue S. A 33-year-old female was cited.

6:42 p.m. A 23-year-old male was cited in the ShopKo parking lot after officers received a report of a driver doing doughnuts in the parking lot.

Thursday, Feb. 7

5:25 p.m. A female pushed a grocery cart full of bagged groceries out of Walmart after her EBT debit card had been denied. Surveillance video viewed and a suspect identified. Under investigation.

Friday, Feb. 8

12:12 p.m. Officers found a small bag in Walmart parking lot containing green leafy substance. Officers destroyed.

2:03 p.m. Received a complaint that a delivery truck was parked in front of handicapped parking spots at McDonalds.

4:03 p.m. Responded to an accident in the 1100 block of 7th Ave. S.

Saturday, Feb. 9

7:42 a.m. Responded to a noninjury crash on Highway 95 at Rum River Dr.

7:33 p.m. Assisted Mille Lacs County and the State Patrol with a vehicle rollover on Highway 169 at 55th Street.

10:53 p.m. A 16-year-old male juvenile was arrested on three counts of domestic assault including one by strangulation.

Sunday, Feb. 10

9:29 a.m. Assisted Mille Lacs County with a rollover on Highway 169 at Rum River Dr.
