Wrestlers head to 6AA Team tourney Feb. 12
Princeton wrestling (9-11 overall this season) is seeded No. 7 for this week’s Section 6AA Team tourney. The Tigers will open against No. 10 Sauk Centre at 6 p.m. at New London-Spicer. The winner of that match will then face the No. 2 seed NL-S Wildcats at 7:30 p.m.
The 6AA Team tourney continues Friday, Feb. 15 at Big Lake (6 p.m. semis/7:30 p.m finals). Foley is the top seed in the section, Becker is No. 3, and Big Lake is No. 4.
The Tigers fell to Little Falls 63-17 in their final match of the regular season Feb. 8, dropping their Granite Ridge dual mark to 1-6.
• The Princeton Gymnasts also enter tournament time this week. The Tigers head to the Section 7A Championships Saturday, Feb. 16 hosted at Eastview Elementary in Monticello (12 p.m.).
