The Princeton Music Department proudly presents its 10th annual All-City Choir Festival on Friday, March 15, in the high school gymnasium.
All-City Choir features 600 students representing grades 4-12, performing in eight choirs under the direction of Sarah Ryan, Mimi Meidl, Mark Potvin and guest clinician Bruce Phelps.
Phelps is a Twin Cities-based music educator, conductor, composer, arranger and author. He retired from Anoka High School after 30 years of public school teaching. Phelps currently directs the Northern Lights Chorale and serves as minister of music at Christ the King Lutheran Church in New Brighton.
The National Association for Music Education designates March as “Music in Our Schools” month. Princeton has long-celebrated this time period through various concerts and outreach events.
The public is welcome and encouraged to attend this concert to join in the festivities. Concert time is 7:30 p.m. Admission is free, with tickets available at the door beginning at 6 p.m. Many tickets remain but seating is limited.
