Police report: Week of March 11
The following incidents were reported to the Princeton Police Department between March 4 and March 11.
Monday, March 4
5:35 a.m. Assisted Mille Lacs County with a report of a barn fire on 75th Avenue.
9:08 a.m. An iPod was found in the 100 block of Rum River Dr. N.
12:27 p.m. Assisted Mille Lacs County at the scene of a traffic stop on Highway 169 at 80th Street.
3:05 p.m. A 20-year-old male was arrested on a Stearns County warrant, following a traffic stop on Old Highway 18.
Tuesday, March 5
2:07 a.m. Assisted Mille Lacs County deputies at the scene of a rollover on Highway 169 at 70th Street.
10:52 a.m. A juvenile female was cited and arrested for possession of drugs at Princeton High School.
3:19 p.m. Assisted Mille Lacs County deputies at the scene of a snowblower accident at 10917 Highway 95.
Wednesday, March 6
12:07 a.m. An 18-year-old male was cited for exhibition driving on 6th and 7th avenues.
2:45 a.m. A 25-year-old male was cited for violating an order for protection.
3:36 p.m. An 18-year-old male was cited for retail theft at Coborn’s.
6:41 p.m. A gas drive-off in the amount of $25 was reported at Hofman Oil.
Thursday, March 7
9:48 a.m. A 57-year-old male was cited for shoplifting at Walmart. He had an outstanding warrant out of Chisago County for burglary and was arrested and booked into the Mille Lacs County Jail.
11:40 a.m. A charger was reported stolen from the middle school.
1:08 p.m. An iPod was reported stolen from the middle school.
Friday, March 8
1:30 p.m. A juvenile was found in possession of alcohol at the middle school. Parent notified.
9:25 p.m. The theft of a license plate was reported.
Saturday, March 9
7:59 p.m. A 49-year-old male was arrested for DWI on Rum River Drive after being pulled over for crossing over the center line and nearly hitting the officer’s squad car.
Sunday, March 10
1:51 a.m. A 21-year-old male was arrested for DWI after being pulled over for a stop sign violation on Northland Drive. Driver stopped in the middle of the road for a stoplight and was also over the center line.
7:42 p.m. A male turned himself in on a felony domestic assault warrant.
Monday, March 11
2:11 a.m. A homeless man with no shirt was reported to be sleeping inside McDonald’s. Officers removed the man from the restaurant.
