Tiger Classic baseball tourney changes times, locales

Due to Solheim Field needing a little more time to dry out, changes are being made to this weekend’s Princeton Tiger Classic baseball tournament.

Pool-format games on Friday, April 26 will instead be played at St. Francis and Monticello. St. Francis will open against Grand Rapids at 2 p.m., with Princeton taking on Grand Rapids at 4:30 p.m. in St. Francis. The Saints and Tigers will wrap up the night with a 7 p.m. game.

At Monticello, games will be: 2 p.m.– North Branch vs. Monticello; 4:30 p.m.– North Branch vs. Cloquet; 7 p.m.– Cloquet vs. Monticello.

Hopefully, final round games will be held at Princeton’s Solheim Field on Saturday, April 27. The order will go: 10:30 a.m.– 5th place game; 1 p.m.– 3rd-place game; 3:30– championship.
