Police Report: July 1-7, 2013

Monday, July 1
11:36 a.m. Assisted a person on County 3 who had suspicious items on the shoulder.
3:47 p.m. A pool was reported to be slashed in the 400 block of Sixth Avenue South. Damage estimated at $600.
4:02 p.m. Assisted the sheriff’s department in attempting to locate a person who was on foot in the area of Highway 95 and 135th Avenue who was bleeding from the arm.
9:26 p.m. A fireworks complaint was made on Golf Course Road.
Tuesday, July 2
6:02 a.m. Assisted the sheriff’s department with a report of an accident on Alpha Road.
6:04 a.m. A bear was reported in the cemetery by the dirt piles at the west end of the property.
11:18 a.m. A gas drive-off in the amount of $15 was reported by the Marathon Station.
11:30 a.m. A bear was reported in the cemetery and ran west toward the dirt pile.
4:45 p.m. A juvenile was cited for shoplifting at Family Dollar.
5:59 p.m. A juvenile was cited for shoplifting at Thrifty White Pharmacy.
9:36 p.m. A fireworks complaint was investigated on Golf Club Road. Warning was issued for shooting illegal fireworks.
Wednesday, July 3
4:19 a.m. A door plate on the Jaycees food stand in Mark Park appeared to be tampered with. The building remained secure.
8 a.m. The theft of a POW/MIA flag was reported from a residence in the 400 block of Eighth Avenue South.
6:25 p.m. Investigated the possible theft of 30 shearing knives from a residence in the 500 block of 19th Avenue North.
Thursday, July 4
1:46 a.m. Responded to a verbal dispute between boyfriend and girlfriend in the 500 block of Rum River Drive. Female left for the night.
3:30 a.m. Assisted the sheriff’s department with a rollover on Highway 169 at County 9 in Sherburne County.
9:24 a.m. A gas drive-off in the amount of $47.82 was reported by the Marathon Station.
5:32 p.m. A potential theft by an extended family member was reported.
10:06 p.m. Received multiple complaints of fireworks being shot in the 1500 block of 13th Street North.
Friday, July 5
3:34 p.m. Assisted the sheriff’s department with the DWI arrest of a 34-year-old male in the 100 block of Rum River Drive.
8:22 p.m. Arrested a 47-year-old male for fleeing in the 300 block of Rum River Drive South.
Saturday, July 6
1:17 a.m. A male was reported to be yelling by one of the apartments by the laundromat in the 100 block of Rum River Drive South. An intoxicated male wanted a resident to come outside and fight. A 22-year-old male was cited disorderly conduct.
11:03 a.m. E-Cig World, 116 Rum River Drive South, reported a male kicked his business door and lower window.
9:10 p.m. A glass marijuana pipe was found by a person in the 1100 block of Fourth Street North. Pipe was seized by officer and destroyed.
Sunday, July 7
2:30 a.m. Officer pulled vehicle over on Rum River Drive and First Street after driving over the fog line three times. Joy Michelle Duresky, 41, was arrested for DWI.
2:13 p.m. Responded to a verbal dispute between granddaughter and grandmother. Officer mediated the dispute.
9:13 p.m. Casey’s North reported receiving a counterfeit $5 bill.
