Princeton Police Report: Week of August 1

The following incidents were reported to the Princeton Police Department between July 22 and July 29. They were compiled by Jeff Hage.

Monday, July 22
1:34 p.m. Officer responded to a property dispute in the 1300 block of 15th Ave. N.
5:28 p.m. Received a report of a conscious man laying on the shoulder of Highway 169 at 55th St. Suspect gone on arrival.
7:03 p.m. A BMX bike was located behind a power box southeast of Walmart.
7:27 p.m. Officer responded to the airport where subjects were rollerblading on the runway.
Tuesday, July 23
8 a.m. A juvenile female runaway was reported. Juvenile used mother’s debit card to purchase $175 in XBox items. Runaway was located by a sheriff’s department deputy. Juvenile was tranferred to secured detention.
4:40 p.m. A resident in the 200 block of 6th Ave. S. reported damage to a garage after an unknown driver backed into it.
7:12 p.m. Received a report of an impaired vehicle hitting a bike rack in mark Park. Heather M. Obrutz, 34, was arrested for DWI.
Wednesday, July 24
12:54 a.m. Occupant of a suspicious vehicle was reported to be flashing lights at homes. Kyle A. Bemis, 20, was arrested for DWI.
8:25 a.m. A resident in the 1900 block of 107th Ave. report damage to a mailbox. A neighbor was contacted, who’s truck had damage consistant with the damage to the mailbox. Suspect said he would take care of the matter. Damage to mailbox estimated at $100.
2:42 p.m. A person was arrested in the 100 block of 9th Ave. N on a felony warrant out of Morrison County.
5:23 p.m. Responded to a domestic dispute between a juvenile brother and sister. A 16-year-old female was arrested for domestic assault and transported to Lino Lakes.
Thursday, July 25
5:02 a.m. A 24-year-old male was arrested in the 100 block of 9th Ave. S. on a Department of Corrections felony warrant.
8:25 a.m. Received a report of a juvenile bicycle rider entering the intersection of Rum River Dr. at Northland Dr. and hitting a vehicle. Bicyclist was not located.
Friday, July 26
2:40 p.m. An intoxicated male was reported on the southbound Highway 169 ramp at Highway 95. Suspect was located. He was hitchhiking to St. Paul. Officer gave suspect a ride to SuperAmerica in Zimmerman.
4:35 p.m. A wallet was reported stolen from a vehicle in Riverside Park. The wallent contained $200 cash.
Saturday, July 27
10:38 a.m. Officers observed vehicle parked in the grass near a park on 9th St. N. Suspects said they were here from North Dakota looking for items with a metal detector. Officer observed a metal detector in the vehicle.
11:45 a.m. The theft of two backpacks containing clothing and a microphone were reported stolen in the 300 block of 21st Ave. N.
10:02 p.m. Assisted Mille Lacs County with a report of a verbal domestic in the 10200 block of Highway 95.
Sunday, July 28
6:08 p.m. Officer responded to a residence in the 600 block of 8th St. S. where a female was holding an individual’s laptop in lieu of rent paid.
