Hot time on the ol’ cross country course

 It was a hot and muggy afternoon on the Fairway Shores Golf Course Aug. 29 for the annual Princeton Invitational which kicks off the cross country season. The Tiger girls broke from the starting line and ended up taking second with 54 points to Spectrum (29 points) amid the eight varsity girls teams. The Spectrum boys took the tie-break after both they and St. Cloud Christian tied with 54 points.   

•  Ashley Urman placed 9th at 18:06 for the Tiger girls who were led by Sam Swedzinski (7th, 17:51). Emily Kruschek (12th, 18:24) and Brianna Schultz (14th, 18:34) posted the Tiger girls’ next top times.

 

 

 
Michael Huebsch ran through a shady stretch while finishing in 22:28. Nikita Pelletier added a 21:08 time for the varsity.  Nick Langenfeld (20:11) and Josh Cassiday (20:18) ran for the Tiger varsity boys top two times at the Aug. 29 invite.
