Police Report: Princeton

The following incidents were reported to the Princeton Police Department between September 2-9. The times printed are when a complaint was received, not necessarily when it occurred. The report was compiled by Jeff Hage.

 

Monday, Sept. 2

2:54 p.m. A blue boys BMX-style bike was found in the 100 block of Woodland Drive.

6:48 p.m. An orange BMX-style bike was found in the 1500 block of 16th Street N. The bike was identified as one previously reported stolen and was returned to its owner.

8:46 p.m. Walmart reported the theft of alcohol.

Tuesday, Sept. 3

1:10 p.m. A dumping complaint was made in the 900 block of West Branch Street.

2:46 p.m. An accident was reported on Rum River Drive South and Highway 169. No injuries were reported.

Wednesday, Sept. 4

11:29 a.m. A truck reported stolen in St. Louis Park was located in the 500 block of 19th Avenue N. Ignition was punched. Truck was returned to owner.

11:35 a.m. A deceased male was reported inside a room at the AmericInn.

1:21 p.m. A female reported receiving a text message that she perceived as threatening. Officer advised woman of her options regarding the message and patrolled the area.

1:58 p.m. A female reported receiving a threat that the brake lines of her vehicle would be cut. Officer talked with suspect.

7:03 p.m. A child custody dispute was reported in a street in the 1000 block of 8th Avenue N.

Thursday, Sept. 5

2:11 a.m. A 26-year-old female was arrested for domestic assault against two individuals following a disturbance.

3:04 p.m. The theft of an iPad was reported in the 200 block of Rum River Drive S. iPad was valued at $600.

5:44 p.m. Assisted Mille Lacs County deputies in evicting two females from a residence in the 1000 block of 8th Avenue N.

Friday, Sept. 6

6:38 a.m. Homeowner in the 100 block of Woodland Drive reported someone sleeping on a trampoline.

11:48 a.m. Assisted the State Patrol with a non-injury accident on Highway 95 at County Road 1.

7:53 p.m. A gas leak was reported in the 500 block of 7th Avenue S. Fire department responded and turned off the gas.

11:14 p.m. A vehicle was pulled over in the 900 block of Rum River Drive S. for having a brake light out. Logan Whitcomb, 28, was arrested for DWI and booked into the Sherburne County jail.

Saturday, Sept. 7

1:48 a.m. A male was reported to have walked into Coborns with a bloody hand and a couple fingers missing. Victim allegedly said someone stole his bike and shot his hand with a gun. Victim left on foot prior to officers arriving. Victim was not located.

6:23 a.m. A suspicious person was reported at Casey’s North laying under a tree. Suspect was asked to leave.

9:33 a.m. A 19-year-old male was arrested following a domestic.

10:49 a.m. An accident was reported in the parking lot of Bremer Bank. A car backed into a boat. No injuries were reported.

11:38 a.m. A male reportedly went into a dumpster in the 600 block of rum river Drive S. and took items. All items were recovered.

11:44 a.m. A 44-year-old female was arrested for theft at Family Dollar. She was booked into the Mille Lacs county Jail.

1:26 p.m. Three boxes of amunition was found by housekeeping staff in a room at the AmericInn.

Sunday, Sept. 8

6:59 p.m. Two bike frames were found in an alley in the 400 block of 6th Avenue S.

11:52 a.m. A vehicle was pulled over in the 500 block of rum river Drive N. for having a license plate light out and fr having an object suspended from the vehicle. A 19-year-old male was cited for possession of marijuana.
