Tiger Girls Swim rolls back into M-8 by taking on Bluejackets

In their lone action last week, the Princeton girls swim & dive crew hosted Cambridge-Isanti Sept. 5, with the Bluejackets prevailing 102-79 in the Tigers’ return to the Mississippi 8 Conference. Leading off the meet were the divers, with Princeton’s Meg Gourley (above) showing fluid moves when she placed first with 198.2 points. Tiger Montana Lawrence had a big night against Cambridge-Isanti Sept. 5, winning the 500 Freestyle at 5:36.4 (above) and taking first in the 200 Free at 2:06.1 She also teamed with Julia Woodward, Emily Cooley, and Gabrielle Donais on the first-place 200 Free Relay (1:53.8). Princeton’s Megan Carlberg cut the water for a 1:12.4 time in the 100 Freestyle, good for fifth place against Cambridge-Isanti. More Tiger highlights against C-I were Julia Woodward placing second in the 200 Free (2:15.5) and Emma Carlberg taking third in the 100 Butterfly (1:17.3)
